Courthouse Commissioner’s Meeting Room Regular Meeting November 18, 2010 Present: Chairman Richmond Felton Vice-Chairman Roosevelt James Commissioner Gordon Sutton Commissioner Mickey George Edward Sealover, County Manager Roselyn H. Starling, Deputy Manager Belinda M. Johnson, Deputy Clerk Jon Coogle, County Attorney
Excused Absent: Commissioner Dougherty Commission-chairman Felton called the meeting to order and gave the opening prayer. Commissioner George made the motion to approve the minutes of the November 2nd meeting as presented, seconded by Vice-chairman James and carried unanimously. Vice-chairman James made the motion to adopt an ordinance to set standards for outdoor watering of landscape in the unincorporated areas, seconded by Commissioner Sutton and carried unanimously. Commissioner George made the motion to increase the current Macon County EMS mileage rate from $9.00 to $10.50 per mile and the ALS 2 Emergency Base Rate from $500.00 to $600.00, seconded by Commissioner Sutton and carried unanimously. Commissioner Sutton made the motion to approve the intern program subgrant agreement between Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) and Macon County Board of Commissioners, seconded by Vice-chairman James and carried unanimously. Commissioner George made the motion to table the appointment of the Development Authority Board members until the next meeting, seconded by Vice-chairman James and carried unanimously. Commissioner Sutton made the motion to appoint Commissioner George to the Macon County Board of Health, seconded by Vice-chairman James and carried unanimously. There being no further business, Commissioner George made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Vice-chairman James and carried unanimously.
