Industrial Parks
Macon County – Brown-Lockerman Tract
The 120-acre industrial tract is located just south of Oglethorpe on state route (S.R.) 49. The tract is planned for industrial use and zoned accordingly. Utilities provided by the City of Oglethorpe are in the immediate area along S.R. 49.
The site is bordered by S.R. 49 to the west and Buckeye Road to the south. The tract is located approximately one-half mile south of the intersection of S.R. 26 and 49. State route 26 provides a direct route to Interstate 75 to the east and S.R. 19 to the west. The Norfolk Southern railway is located along the eastern boundary of the tract. Spur lines to the site can be easily constructed.
Montezuma/Macon County Industrial Park
The 226-acre Montezuma/Macon County Industrial Park is located adjacent to the Montezuma Municipal Airport. The district has been planned for industrial use and is zoned accordingly.
Existing companies include Scarbary's Propane Manufacturing, Birds Eye Foods, Riley Manufacturing, Integrated Composite Technologies, the Concrete Company and Floyd's Fiberglass. The largest available tract is 42 acres with a total of 116 acres available for future development.
The industrial park is located within the northeastern City Limits of Montezuma, between Ga.. Highway 26 and Ga.. Highway 49. Macon is 48 miles northeast and Atlanta is 132 miles north.

Sewer - 10-inch main by City of Montezuma; 2.02 mgd capacity, 1.00 mgd average use, 1.02 mgd excess capacity
Natural Gas - 4-inch line by Atlanta Gas Light
Transportation
Highways - Ga. Highway 26 provides direct access. Interstate 75 is located 16 miles east via Ga. Highway 26. Ga. Highways 49, 90, 128 and 224 also provide service to Montezuma.
Railroads - CSX Railroad provides service. Norfolk Southern marshalling yard, two miles west in town of Oglethorpe.
Airports - Middle Georgia Regional Airport is located 48 miles northeast. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is located 132 miles north. The Montezuma Municipal Airport is adjacent to the Montezuma Park and within 5 miles of the Macon County Park.
