Georgia law requires that public notices be printed in the legal organ newspaper. The Citizen-Georgian is the official legal organ of Macon County and does not currently offer public notices online.
A Public Notice is a notice to residents informing them of county business and/or official action to be taken by the County such as our intent to enact an ordinance, public hearings for zoning-related matters, budger hearings, etc.
As a public agency, Macon County welcomes all vendors to participate in the open and competitive process. The Macon County Purchasing Department encourages all potential vendors to participate.
